Card payments in Haiti: accept Visa, Mastercard, MonCash and Natcash

How to accept a card payment
1. Create your account
Free sign-up. You get test keys and a ready-to-use dashboard.
2. Pick your method
A payment link to share, a copy-paste button, a WooCommerce or Wix plugin, or the API for your own site.
3. Get paid
The customer chooses card, MonCash or Natcash. Your dashboard shows who paid, the fees and the net amount received.
Card numbers never go through your server: customers enter them in a secure form. You receive the confirmation by signed webhook or through the API.

A single payment link accepts all of these: the price is shown in HTG and USD, and the customer is charged in the currency of the method they choose.

Card payments are credited to your USD Gateway balance, fees deducted. Withdraw by bank transfer or Zelle from the dashboard. In Live mode, cards need to be activated: write to issuing@fredapay.com.

How do I accept card payments in Haiti?
Create a free Freda Pay account, then create a payment link, install a plugin (WooCommerce, Wix) or call the API with method "carte". Your customer enters their card on a secure page and you receive the confirmation. You can test for free in Sandbox mode.
Which cards are accepted?
Visa and Mastercard, paid in USD. The payment form also offers Amazon Pay, Cash App and Link depending on the customer's country. Final acceptance depends on the card's issuing bank.
What are the fees for card payments?
Per successful payment: 7% + $0.50 on the Standard plan, 6% + $0.50 on Pro and 5% + $0.50 on Business. The minimum card payment is $0.50.
Can I also accept MonCash and Natcash on the same checkout?
Yes. Card, MonCash and Natcash are offered on the same payment link or checkout. MonCash and Natcash are paid in HTG; cards are paid in USD.
How do I receive the money from card payments?
Card payments are credited to your USD Gateway balance, fees deducted. You can withdraw this balance by bank transfer or Zelle from your dashboard.
Is my customers' card data safe?
The customer enters the card in a secure form: the card number never goes through your server. Payment confirmations arrive by signed webhook, and you can always check the status through the API.
How do I test without real money?
In Sandbox mode, with an sk_test_ key, pay with the test card 4242 4242 4242 4242, expiry 05/27, CVV 088. No real money is charged.
